Most of our applications will go through the automatic underwriting and approval process.
However, in some cases, our online verification systems might not be able to complete our underwriting without manual review and approval.
Some of the reasons this can happen are:
- We don't have the sufficient or correct information on the application
- There may be a typo on the application
- Further documentation is required to validate the business or guarantor
- There was an issue with pulling your credit report
When an application is pended, it will be reviewed in the order it is received by our Risk department.
They will send you an email (to the email used when applying) with the next steps as soon as possible (up to 2 business days). The email will be sent from support@creditkey.com

If you do not hear from our risk team after 2 business days, please contact us.
My credit report with Equifax is frozen
We are unable to move forward unless that credit freeze is removed from your Equifax account, as we pull a soft inquiry on your personal credit report to verify that our minimum requirements are met.
Here is what you need to do:
- Please call Equifax at (800) 349-9960 -or- go to the Equifax website (https://www.equifax.com/personal/credit-report-services/credit-freeze/)
- Follow the appropriate prompts to remove the freeze from your credit.
- Let us know when your credit has been unfrozen by emailing support@creditkey.com (please include your business name)
Once we are alerted that your credit is no longer frozen, we will continue to review your application.
My business hasn't opened yet to provide proof of revenue
If you're a new business, you will need to wait until you hit the $40,000 Gross Annual Revenue threshold before we can approve the line of credit. We encourage you to reach out again in the future!
